West has been fantastic this year. He's not a rim protector like timmy, but he's solid on the ball, tough, and basically hasn't made an offensive mistake since November.

Boban is the greatest name for a victory cigar player in the history of basketball. Hes also one of the best all-time 11th/12/13th man.
This is a really boring series so far. A really good team toying with a really bad team. Hopefully memphis makes us sharpen up in memphis.

I thought Memphis actually played really good defense last night which is the only chance they have to even come close to winning a game. Randolph is the only player on the court that is a consistent scorer. Carter can get hot but his age is showing too. Offensively they don't have much of a chance and then throw in the Spurs defense and you've got a terrible matchup for them. If they were playing a team with inconsistent defense they might have had some outside chance but not the Spurs.

I think the Spurs are also playing to their competition here a bit too, and at home. I don't like it, but it's easy to understand checking out for the game last night.

Aldridge in foul trouble, Duncan is old, and West isn't tall enough to bother Randolph. Might not be a bad time to see some Boban.

This is the game I was worried about losing coming into the series, so I'm glad we came out of it with a win and no one having to play a ton of minutes.

A little disappointed with the ball movement this game. Also, it amazes me how Aldridge can hit those tough fadeaway jumpers and miss so many easy bunnies. He has to play thru contact better if we are going to win in the later rounds. Kawhi was awesome, though, and I'm encouraged by Green hitting some threes including the biggest pressure shot of the game down the stretch.

The announcers mentioned at one point that the spurs are treating the games in Memphis like a back-to-back. Combine that with pop probably not minding a close game to wake them up and you have your explanation for Duncan not playing a lot.
They did go small a lot last night and Pop is still experimenting a bit. Actually, the Spurs closing lineup of Manu-Green-Leonard-Diaw-Aldridge is a lineup I've been campaigning for all regular season long and last night was the FIRST time all season that the Spurs played that lineup lol. And they closed a playoff game out with it. Unreal.
