This thread probably going to have more posts than the Dallas Mavericks Season thread.

In response to massive requests, we shall be screening Kobe Bryant's final game live in our conference room in order to learn from his professionalism. Game takes place at 10:00-14:00 (local time). Food and drinks will be provided. Please do attend.quote:
Due to April 14th being Kobe Bryant's farewell game, we have decided to declare said day as a company holiday. Business will resume on April 15th.
Even if a second Kobe were to appear, our lives would be too short to wait for another.

Not a big fan of Kobe, but that was quite a spectacular (and very Kobe-ish) way to go out and very fun to watch. More importantly, congrats to the Lakers for their 17th win of the season. For perspective, the Warriors had their 17th win the day after Thanksgiving.
I know most people like to be acknowledged when they retire, but I can't help but think the first game after Timmy retires the Spurs starting lineup will read something like this:
Tim Duncan: DNP - Retired
quote:Because the Spurs and Lakers had a pretty substantial rivalry for a decade when Kobe and Timmy were in their primes. You talk about the early 2000 Lakers...you talk about the Spurs. And vice versa.
Why has this thread devolved into Spurs trash talk?

quote:Not with a BBC.quote:You know, a lot of women have sex multiple times within 48 hours without extensive tearing/bleeding.
You're right that it's very possible that he did. I remember that she'd had sex with multiple guys in the previous 24 or 48 hours, and that the defense said the trauma was due to that lots of sex. I don't know anything about the physiological effects of marathon sex sessions so I don't have a clue whether there's anything to that. But on its face it didn't seem like the "wow he absolutely got away with rape" sort of situation that you saw with Roethlisberger.
