There are still several ways that this offseason could end up successful. it all depends on what happens in FA. With that said there are a lot of scenarios that have us being bad next year as well.

Yeah after playing leading the league in minutes played he needs more playing on those legs.

Fat and lazy? Or maybe his body is just worn the hell down from playing the most minutes in the league and getting beat the hell up by taking the most fouls for 2 straight seasons now.

You can criticize Harden for a lot of things, but looking at his production and durability relative to style of play over the last 3 seasons, the idea that he's fat, lazy, and out of shape is such a dumb-guy narrative.

His offseason workouts were way lighter than other stars.

And of course I'm not saying that James Harden is the only NBA player that parties hard during the season. Don't be so dense. What I am saying is that guys like Lebron and KD are WAY more dialed in during the season than James is. Just as ONE example, we played the Clippers in LA and were suppose to play the Blazers in Portland the next day in a fairly crucial stretch of the season. James stayed out ALL NIGHT partying in LA. That's someone who isn't serious about being great.

Again, every typical pro athlete parties hard. But James is suppose to be a STAR, not a typical pro athlete.

I'm sure it might be true, but I'm curious how you know this?

I have heard Simmons and others mention that Harden really enjoys spending time strip clubs, but who doesn't like starring at big ole tittays.

Implicit admission that you are talking out of your ass and really have no idea. I'll take it... We can move on from that.

The going out thing. I'm always curious with what people expect out of athletes after a game. These guys aren't going to your job where you sit at your desk all day and alternate between looking at Microsoft Excel, Texags, and ESPN.com from 8 to 5. There's no way it's so easy to go home after work is done for them and have milk and cookies and go to bed. A lot of them have to take time to unwind after a game that doesn't end until 11 at night. Top that off, they turn around and play at night the next day and almost every player who plays major minutes talks about long naps before the game. In other words, unless you are talking about an early start, staying up late rly isn't a big deal for an NBA player's routine.

I just strongly disagree. And I don't really feel like debating it anymore.
