We will have $23.4 mil or so cap space if we bring back Beasley only
quote:This. He is probably the most over criticized player in the NBA. Everyone always ridicules him for smiling and not taking things seriously, but when you look at the league, most guys are like that. It's a game, after all. Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to him being gone but he didn't deserve all the criticism he took here in Houston.
Taking a step back, I do like Dwight as a non-basketball person. It sucks he just HAS to be this way as a basketball player person.

The only teams that have reportedly even been a consideration for Durant is Boston, SA, and OKC. I'm almost sure he will sign a 1-yr extension in OKC and give it one more run.

If I'm SA, I indirectly encourage Duncan, Manu, and Parker to retire and then easily get KD.
quote:Yeah, realistically I see him signing a 1 year deal with OKC then next summer hit FA with Westbrook. It'll suck for OKC next year if they both sign elsewhere.

quote:Yeah, he is definitely old as balls, but he did put up 17/11/4 this year. Spurs will likely limit him to ~25 mpg (about what Duncan played) and punish teams for trying to play small ball.
Pau makes sense. Wouldn't have to change anything about the offense. I know SA has a legendary training staff and all, but I'd still be fearful of him breaking down. It's inevitable.

I've definitely heard talk of the rockets

My offseason wishlist.
Plan A
Get a new coach (JVG?)
Get Durant
Use the rest of the cap space to find role players (a big, a shooter, and another pg)
Plan B
Get a new coach (JVG?)
Get Whiteside
Get one of the following Conley, Barnes, or Beal.
-Barnes & Beal are both restricted so at worst force their teams to match a max.
Edit: I left out Anderson. I want him too in the mix.
