When your team loses the final 3 games of the series you don't deserve MVP no matter the stat line. If he can bring them back tonight and take GS to the wire in Game 7, then yes.
This is incorrect. Lebron isn't just the best player in the series, he's putting together arguably the best finals performance in NBA history.

There are several players I'd take over Lebron. Basketball is a team sport for a reason, and it's evident in this series.
I'm sorry but if you'd take anybody over LeBron for this past season, you're a flippin' idiot.
Did Lebron get MVP this year? I'll wait your answer
I haven't been on this thread enough to know, but are you a troll, an idiot, or both?

Don't even respond. He already showed his ass as the dumbest poster of all time, now he's trying to troll to cover up his stupidity

He's the best player. He's had the best series. He's just outgunned.

He was the best player in the finals last year. Got smoked the final 3 games by a better team. Did he deserve it then?

Really happy for igoudala. Always liked him. He deserves a ring

LeBron ain't winning the MVP if they lose this game. It'll go to Curry, although I think Iggy might be more deserving.
Exactly.

Agree. I really wanted the Spurs to snag Iguodala last time he was a free agent. Would have been happy to pay his current contract.

Hey, Lebron chooses the path of least resistance and it isn't a coincidence. It isn't being a dbag to point out the ****ing obvious.

Where exactly was he going to go in the west? He didn't choose Cleveland because it was an easy route to the finals. He chose it because it was home and he wanted to bring a championship there

I disagree completely with this. LeBron has played amazingly, but that FG% has been pretty poor this series, and IMO keeps him out of that conversation.

So? You don't lose 3 straight, mostly not in doubt games and deserve a trophy. Sorry.

Oh, I'm sure someone would have taken him. Shat, go to the Kings and make a contender. It is like Eddie Murphy talking about Stevie Wonder. Winning the East isn't impressive.

Have you seen his supporting cast. Mozgov is the only starter who could start for a playoff caliber team.

You baby bronbron homers getting nervous he won't win?
He's going to lose, but that doesn't change that he's the best player in basketball right now. He plays Kawhi Leonard-level D, is fast + explosive enough to lead a fast break or break someone's ankle going to the rim but can post up and overpower anybody, is a fantastic passer (and knows when to pass), and has range. I mean his combination of skills is inhuman.

If I were starting a franchise today, I'd probably take Anthony Davis because LeBron has played something like 18 million minutes over his career and he's got to come down to earth in the next season or 3, but if I'm picking a player for this season or next, it's LeBron.

Cavs got the option to keep Mozgov this summer, correct? Because if they didn't, that guy would be making huge money next year.

Lebron has had 3 wide open 3s that would have had this a 2 point game. He's been amazing, but if he was other worldly, he would have made those.

Seeing Cleveland shoot 3 of 19 from 3 and about 38% from the field is very reminiscent of a Memphis Grizzlies game.

Jordan would have.

Seriously, Lebron has been amazing. I'm just saying it would have been amazing if he was just making everything.

Actually, it kind of does. If he was truly other-worldly his teams wouldn't have gotten their asses kicked the last 3 games of the last 2 finals.

He is the best player on the planet right now, but he isn't other worldly.

Yea he's got no legs left for his shot. 2 minutes left and he's already played 45 minutes. He's going to end up playing 47 of 48 minutes or something like that.
