Probably one thread is more than enough for these two series.

Tin foil hats: even if Memphis and GS play well I don't think there's any way they make it past these 2 teams. Durant is the NBA darling and LAC is one of the few traditional big market teams left.

That said it would be awesome if both would win. Like many on this board I have an irrational hatred of Chris Paul so I don't want to see him continue on.

Memphis just doesn't have the scoring to keep up with Durant and Westbrook.

Memphis could ugly the series up enough to take it 6 games, but past that I don't think they stand much of a chance unless Westbrook falls apart physically or mentally (not impossible). That said, if Memphis does make it through OKC somehow, I think they match up well with whoever comes out of the other series. Really well. I'd probably even take Memphis in that series.

Golden State has even less of a chance vs LAC than Memphis vs OKC, especially with Bogut out. Unless team splash makes a dominating appearance in every single game, this series will be over quickly. It would not surprise me to see a sweep, but somehow I think Curry will carry them to a game 6.

I wouldn't be upset if an earthquake cancelled this series and both teams lose
