Durant definitely gets the "star treatment". That little move he does where he swings his arms when a defender is in his chest should not be rewarded with a foul call, if anything it should be treated as Durant knocking the defenders arms away. And most of the time he gets foul shots because they think he's in the act of shooting.

I've never understood why that is a foul.

If a guy didn't have a basketball and he swept through the defenders arms, is it a foul? If he just slapped at the defenders arms to knock them off, is it a foul?

But now that I have a basketball in my arms, I can clear space and draw a foul?

My gripe about the way the NBA officiates in allowing the offense to initiate contact to draw a foul is not Thunder specific, just a complaint in general. I'm not a big fan of seeing Roy Hibbert or Tyson Chandler getting barreled into while they jump straight up and no foul is called.

Or anybody guarding D. "I'm going to start falling into you while I drive" Wade.
