Without the ridiculously bone headed move by Vogel in game 1, this series would be over with Indy winning in 6.

Is this Miami team worse than some of lebron's Cleveland teams?

That's what I'm saying. I honestly have no faith in the Heat getting there. I've been worried about the Heat playing the pacers since the playoffs began.

That being said that is the only team that I've been worried about. The spurs are trash.

Weak troll. Try again.

Yeah because if something slightly different happens in game one that means nothing different would have happened in game two

strong logic

You are an idiot. I will bet you any amount of money that Miami would not sweep.

Miami won't sweep. They won't look this bad. Either bosh, wade, or both will provide some semblance of an offensive identity, but I think I'd take Miami in 7
Bunk Moreland
How long do you want to ignore this user?
It was tongue in cheek but the way bosh and wade are playing and the amount of minutes they are consuming it could be argued

Like I've been saying if Miami gets to play the spurs they finish them in two maybe three games max before the Spurs throw out the white flag and refuse to play anymore due to embarrassment

When the Spurs win, we will never see your troll ass on this board again.

You have to be either the worst troll of all time or have zero basketball knowledge to think that the Spurs will beat the Heat

no it deserves to be analyzed at this point and I expect it to be in the media discussion this week

For all the talk of Miami missing a lot of 3s, they still shot 55% from beyond the arc. Hitting 3s is the only thing that kept the Heat in this game. I still expect Miami to win game 7, but Wade and Bosh can't play like they did tonight.

Crag is so dumb he's on my ignore list. Not even good trolling.

Or be watching the Pacers-Heat series and watching how Miami struggles against quality big men.

Shaq just said that if it comes down to the Spurs vs Heat, the Spurs would blow the Heat out of the building.

I'm a huge LeBron fan. If the Spurs play the Heat, it wouldn't be close. The Heat would be lucky to make a game 5.

I don't know what is wrong with Dwayne Wade. He must be hurt. I have never seen him play this many bad games in a row. Chris Bosh isn't playing his position. Allen and Battier have gone cold. LeBron isn't shooting great. Nobody on the team rebounds.

As of right now, it would be a Spurs blowout.

Now, if the Heat 3 point shooters heat up and Wade and Bosh either show up or stay out of the way, the series might make 6 or 7 games. But right now, I just don't see Wade suddenly becoming healthy, or Bosh suddenly growing balls, and those two are a necessity for a Heat championship.

Is it me or does Roy Hibbert look somewhat like Stringer Bell...he sounded like him in the postgame presser

12thMan2012, never underestimate the difference an opponent makes. The Spurs, while sharing some similar qualities to Indiana, are not the same team, and while providing some size mismatches do not provide the same mismatches across the board that Indiana does to Miami.

Look no further than last year. The entire NBA was ready to laugh off Miami yet again when they went down 3-2 to Boston, and Lebron beasted through games 6 and 7 to get to the finals. Much of the same was being said about the Thunder, who had just disposed of the Spurs, and all the talk was that the Heat wouldn't be able to handle KD, Westbrook, and the offensive firepower they had. The Heat lost game 1 and then swept 4 straight.

Not saying they'd do the same against San Antonio, but it's not a foregone conclusion that the Spurs would just blitz the finals vs the Heat. TV pundits love to be extremists these days, and as much as I love the TNT guys, they share many qualities with the other hacks on television. They fall into the trap. At least they preface it with saying the Heat team we are watching right now.

But a new series, the finals, a new opponent, and a fresh approach could change everything.

No matter what team wins the ECF, I don't think the NBA finals is going fewer than 6 games.

I'm gonna go ahead and project that the NBA fixes game 7 by suspending Hibbert for saying "no homo".
Diet Cokehead
How long do you want to ignore this user?
That would be very feggotty of the NBA.

no homo is akin to saying "that's what she said." I realize it was the wrong timing due to Collins and what not, but given the last few sports "outings" I think the American public has largely debunked the decades long theory that "america isn't ready for a gay athlete"

Hibbert meant nothing by it, it was funny(just like Michael Scott's TWSS lines on the office) and it didn't offend anyone.

Oh well, **** this PC world.
