If Portland loses to Denver, this will have been a perfect night for the Lakers

Bench came up big tonight. We have a chance to get back to .500 vs ATL on Sunday before playing 10 of 14 on the road.

The refs trying to hand this game to the Lakers. Kobe walks and instead of calling the travel, they call a bogus foul on Josh Smith to put Kobe on the line and give the Lakers the lead.

Lakers win by 1. The NBA can't risk the Lakers not making the playoffs so the refs are taking matters into their own hands.
Lakers pull out an ugly one in a must win game. Once again the brilliance of the individual triumphs over the strong team concept. Kobe is just terrorizing fools. His dunk on J-Smooth tonight was straight nasty.
Kobe was amazing as always, but you got to admit that phantom foul call on what should have been a travel was trash.

The Lakers shot 18 free throws to the Hawks 15. There were some questionable calls both ways, but all things considered I felt it was an evenly called game.

It was a fun game to watch. Just felt that was a huge call.

That was a terrible call. Even the annoucers made fun of Perkins though saying that he actually had a legit complaint for once.
Who is this Reggie Jackson character? How was Boston College not better with an NBA rotation player on their roster last season? Just bizarre.
Lakers came out flat defensively, turned the ball over on offense, and just dug too big a hole in the first half. Kobe should be fine, but Dwight was playing in some serious pain. I am honestly amazed that we cut in to 5 and missed some wide open 3s that would've cut it even closer.
Credit to OKC for only committing two turnovers and going 22 of 24 from the line.

Reggie Jackson was a rookie last year.
With 10 minutes left in the game the Lakers were averaging a ft per minute. That along with 3 pt shooting kept the game seemingly close at times but OKC clearly is the better team. Game was never seriously in doubt.

Never have i seen a team play through all the changes, unfortunate injuries, only to be right there for the playoffs taking finding ways to win games.

Not sure if you get the post game on league pass, but Big Game James is great. He is super critical, but giving mad credit to Dwight for the win tonight. That block was a huge play.
