How can you not root for New Zealand. The true underdogs as the lowest ranked team in the tournament plus their country is awesome

As the prototypical fan who only watches soccer during the World Cup, I prefer this to the ref calling a foul everytime a player flops. Watching a guy fall down, grab his leg withering in pain, only to immediately pop up and start running again is one of the worst parts of soccer. I like when the ref just looks at the guy and says, "Quit being a little *****."

I agree. the only 2 things I dislike about soccer are the rolling around on the ground and the time wasting in throw ins etc. but overall I enjoy the game.

They've pretty much eliminated the time wasting on throw ins this World Cup. The rolling around on the ground thing can be ridiculous but I also think people that didn't play soccer don't quite realize how painful getting kicked with cleats can be.
