The argument was that they did what they always do and lay a roll of sod 10 days before a match. I don't like FIFA but they've always been really strict on pitches.

The pitches in the stadiums on turf were laid a month ago and it's not just 1 layer. Most have put several feet of dirt, irrigation and sod so that it's as close as they can get it. Glad it looks good so far
