And he played Bundesliga last year on a Union Berlin team that was a train-wreck in the fall. He looked pretty good in their last two months for them.

He didn't fall off. Only reason he started so much for us in the past was because of the Ggg-Gio rift. Gio has always been the better 10. It's nice to have quality depth.

Not by far. Tessmann has been outstanding this tournament.

Morocco also has Rahimi the fwd who scored goals for them in the World Cup. He's gonna cause Zimmerman and Robinson some problems

Must be nice to not have a major continental competition this summer. They've been able to send some of their best as overage as well as all the U-23 guys that are in their senior team.

It's worth remembering… any squads here from countries that played Euro or Copa (or Oceania) are depleted more than the teams from Asia and Africa… so it's not really surprising to see which teams won their groups.

It's also worth noting that France has a decent amount of overlap. They're playing quite a few U-23s who were benchwarmers in Euro rather than making two separate squads.
