This game was so much fun. Don't think a smile left my face for the first half hour at least. Just being around all the fans singing and having a good time, plus the surreal feeling of seeing so many international stars playing on Kyle Field. I'm still in awe of the whole thing.

85,249. Third-largest crowd ever at a MexTour match, and the largest in Texas (more than the friendlies at AT&T and NRG).

I was there. Had great seats near one of corners. It was a blast. Here is the breakdown for people that weren't there.

75k Mexico fans. (approximately 98% were wearing a jersey)
8k Brazil fans
2k gringos

One more Mexico-Brazil feature from The Battalion, on the fans who pulled off the Aggie baseball/Mexico-Brazil doubleheader:

I've been to more than 500 pro soccer games and about 4 USA v. Mexico games. Dealt with all the BS that Mexican fans can cause too, including rolls of toilet paper lit on fire and thrown at the field, etc.)

I went as a fan Saturday and it was a blast. The cute senorita sitting in front of me was a bonus. I got a beer shower when Mexico scored and didn't care. It was so much fun.

All the old Ags that were nervous about people destroying their campus need to expand their view of the world.

Agree! I got chills when both of their anthems played and they were so proud singing along.

Agreed! It was a fun fiesta way before beer was involved. I've never seen a group of more happy people. The DJ! And had no idea A&M had a mariachis group! Awesome

To be fair, a few Mexicans are whiter than white (I went to school with one as a kid). The other stuff would give the gringo-ness away, though.
