Dreadful officiating in the 1st half tonight

This one sucks.

If you're chasing two goals, you have to be able to get the ball across midfield in less than 2 minutes of attacking possession.

I'm too old to hang around for a 10pm kick....but here I am.

1st half was the best ball movement we've had in a long time.

Doesn't get much better than that, absolute blast of a match.

Sad that we aren't going to be signing Radovanovich to a long term deal (sounds like his family wanting to be back in Europe) as he's been nails for us, but Keller looked decent in a full half on Saturday. Hopefully he can hold down the fort till we get Leo and/or Ring back healthy.

I'm a little concerned that Rigoni still really isn't clicking though, may be time to reevaluate his value as a DP. We could still use some attacking help, Zardes has really come on the last few weeks but we need a 9 to build around for the future.

Yup, Leo tore an LCL and the estimate was 2 months (he's right at the halfway point). Ring sounds like he's been more day to day so hopefully soon?

Went to our second game last Saturday and had a great time. Had we known kick off was going to be shifted we would have opted for the seats on the East side up on the 2nd deck. Those looked like they would have been normally in full sun until late in the game. Do they frequently shift summer games? Thinking about for next season.

They've been shifting the last couple because of the heat index. This is the first year of the apple deal plus some extremely hot weather early in the summer. So we don't really know how the future kickoffs will go.

Craig was on the U20 World Cup squad with Wolff and impressed, not sure how many minutes he'll get but promising young player.

The crosses on the first two goals were beautiful.

Im pretty sure the first was from ***undez but I'm not sure if the second was from him or Druissi....either way, we'll done!

The first was from the man of the match, Gallagher. He had at least one more that was spot-perfect as well. If his service keeps improving, thst would be huge.

Hoping that was just a stinger for Dani and not a clavicle fracture.

Disappointing but resting several starters and with terrible officiating it is what it is. Watching from home I think both calls were correct, but they were really close.

Oh, certainly not our full top squad. With injuries, we were missing Ring and Pereira, then no Driussi and a late sub appearance for Gallagher. That's probably 4 of our top 5 players.

We just drastically struggle offensively without Driussi - I've reached the point that I expect very little from the run of play if he's not in.

What I don't understand is the short corners we keep taking. We can't unlock a defense normally in the run of play, but on our corners we're letting them load the box with 9 or 10 guys and then short kick and basically just turn it into a possession that we mega can't unlock.

At least there is a chance of scoring on something wonkyif you just kick it into the chaos infront of goal.

Just read we picked up Matt Hedges to play CB.

Not sure his current quality hut we desperately need help back there.

Hedges seems like a great pickup, he's been injured some this season (which seems like the last thing we need at CB) but he was apparently their best defender when healthy.

And I think Driussi is key but Dani is also a huge part of that. He's been one of the best statistical central midfielder in the league this season and when he's missing our central midfield kinda falls apart.

So this sucks:

Seems like this another Reyna f up and they are trying to shake that whole era off. They gave Diego way too much money especially considering Wolff doesn't really play a style that fits him well.
