Still think he is fired if we don't win this game, so should be a win-win for US soccer. I know the reports saying he won't be but they aren't going to publicly admit that.

Probably going to take some sort of player revolt
But, these American soccer players are weak.

They don't stand for anything.

Of course they're going to win and advance. Then lose in the Qs.

If you've been watching this team, they're very inconsistent and that's on leadership.

Not sure why they didn't hire Callahan.

I submit Stephen Mcgee's strong defense of coach fran.

He was just trying to hold the team together, I doubt he was a big fan of Fran. I've never heard him gush about coach Fran after he graduated…

Speaking of Callahan, I've wondered if perhaps him moving on is an opportunity to retool. Is the equal pay thing a line-by-line deal? If not, maybe we can hire a really talented assistant to replace BJ. It's not unheard of for an assistant to be critically important.

If we can get a disciplinarian and offense tactician and let Ggg be the vibes guy he likes to be, that might work out well.

And yes, I fully admit I'm pulling at straws here, but that's because I know that Ggg isn't going anywhere.
