I really did too, never saw a good replay. That was a soft call for the red too, there was contact but not a lot.
All things considered that was a really solid match playing with 10 men, frustrating not to get a point out of it though.

It was more frustrating to see two great chances in the last ten minutes not capitalized upon.

Agree - - I'm also reevaluating my knee-jerk negative reaction to the nepotism roster spot that Wolff got - I believe he served up both of those potential assists to Driussi. Looked pretty impressive in the closing couple of minutes!

Both of Wolff's crosses were right to Driusssi's foot. Finlay had a nice cross vs Houston, but has been a non-factor since. Need Gallaghers speed on defense as he is fast enough to backtrack and not have to foul.

Agreed, we had a couple great chances to equalize even down to 10 men.
Also agreed on Wolf, he looked outstanding. Wouldn't mind seeing him get a start somewhere in this stretch of short turnaround matches we have the next week or two.

Really terrible so far. I hope Wolff tore them a new one at half. There have been many games where the second half is noticeably better than the first

Happy to get a point, but wow. Barely any chances in 20 minutes with a 2 man advantage
Ugly match, but at least one point instead of zero. Stuver and his clearances... So damn bad.
It was a gong show of a game. I spent most of the weekend at a youth soccer tournament. Stuver's clearances we're below avg for the u11 team I watched.
I didn't think it was that bad of a game…
It was an exciting second half. But it was not good soccer.
That's a pretty good way to put it. Being at that game was pretty insane.
Gifting a team a goal inside 2 minutes is about the worst start I can imagine, bit of a giveaway and really poor defending on the second as well. But that said it never felt like we were out of the match, seemed like one goal would flip the game and it did. We got really lucky on a few of those calls late and I thought the penalty was a bit questionable, but we really needed to start pushing for that second goal earlier. Had we scored that with 5+ minutes of regulation left I think we leave with 3 points.
It is what it is, on to the next one!
