Received an email today that the College Cup will be held at the Santa Clara stadium where we played 2 years ago rather than in San Jose.

LSU and Duke lost last night and Oregon State lost at Southern Cal tonight. So I think only FSU and UCLA have perfect records. UCLA plays Oregon tonight.

Ole Miss handled LSU which was surprising. The Tigers are human and didn't even score. Ole Miss is a good team.

Tennessee played well against Auburn and pulled the upset in OT. Our schedule is just getting tougher and tougher.

UCLA tied Oregon last night. Duck keeper made several great saves. So FSU is the only team with a perfect record. Looks like 5 teams have no losses, UCLA, Xavier, La-Monroe, Harvard and Georgetown. Georgetown has 4 wins and 5 ties.

Both Georgia and LSU had plenty of opportunities to win in regulation. The second half was entertaining to watch as they went back and forth but no one was able to score.

LSU with a 2 game losing streak. Wow. Arkansas, SC, Tennessee, and Auburn seem to be in position for the title.

Things certainly seem to change when conference play starts. LSU was undefeated before the weekend and only scored 1 goal in 2 games. Duke and North Carolina were ranked 2 and 3 before ACC play and are each 1-1-1 in conference tied for 8th place. The team in Waco continues to have good fortune beating TCU today when a TCU shot hit the crossbar, deflected down and seemed to be all the way across the goal line before bouncing out. The assistant referee was about 10 yards up the from the end line and did not have a good view to see what would have been the tying goal. Penn State, who clobbered Virginia 4-2 2 weeks ago, is 0-3 in conference play.
