Mexico looked extremely vulnerable to speed.
Both of the Costa rica kickers that missed showed it in their body language before the strike. The third guy I was 100 percent sure would miss, the last guy about 75 percent.

I don't know what the answer is, but the hand ball rule is terrible. The penalty is a dozen times worse than the infraction in cases like this, and it happens over and over again.

That match might have set concacaf back a decade or more, except no one was there to see it.

This tournament just needs to go away or at least move it to every 4 years. It's a farce. The level of competition sucks, most of the big players don't care for playing in it and now without the Confederations Cup tie in, just get rid of it.

Unfortunately it is needed to provide competitive matches for fifa rankings. Wins in the gold cup count more than friendlies.

I guess the Haitian's cleat clipped the Mexican player down on the pitch. Hard to see how he got hurt. But that is a bunch of blood pouring out of his head.

People will gripe about that no call, but that's a great play from Haiti keeper.
