Robbo gives up a penalty with about 10 min left. Adrian guesses the right way but couldn't quite get it. Adrian has been amazing today though.
Deserved to lose that game the way the front three played. Very out of sync. I don't think I've seen a game with that many clear cut chances created without one of them being put away.
We dominated for good stretches of the match and just couldn't find the net. That'll happen on occasion. Still think the penalty call should have been overruled by VAR. That's the toughest match we'll face in group stage. Just regroup and play better.
Yeah our top 3, like joemeister said, just wasn't in sync today. Adrian was lights out and Fabinho played awesome as well.

Went back and watched the replay of the second goal - yikes. Catastrophic errors from VVD and two other players on that one. Glad we don't see that happen very often.

Alisson wins top keeper and Klopp gets manager of the year. VVD robbed of player of the year.
I wouldn't trade VVD for Messi, he is better and more influential than him (both last season, and obviously this season). In fact, there isn't a player in the world I would trade VVD for. I think he is clearly the best player in the game right now. Definitely got robbed.
He's so good that everyone is trying to find the next VVD and is so desperate that they spend $100M on guys like Harry Maguire.

I have no affiliation with the Wimbledon area but have this irrational hatred for MK Dons for moving their team. Just seems so antithetical to the European way.

Thru 25 minutes 0-0. MKD had a great chance due to a lovren mistake to score but couldn't. Minutes later Elliott missed an open back door chance.

Keita looks rusty but active. Great to see.
Ox just doesn't look crisp
Lallana is set as the CDM and is dribbling too much.
Brewster has barely touched it.
Elliott has been pretty crafty. Dribbled by a couple guys already and also played a beautiful ball to the back post that Milner almost scored on.
Curtis Jones has looked good too.
Hoever doesn't seem to have a great touch on the ball.
