Kudos on an excellent performace

Hats off to Mexico. Out played Germany from a tactical perspective. Found Germany's weak spot and exploited it and parked the defensive bus. Could have scored two or three more on their dump and chase counter attacks.

They grinded out a helluva win. Mexico was excellent in the first half and Germany looked good in the 2nd. Both of these teams will move on and now Mexico may miss Brazil in the round of 16!

Hell they might get to the quarters this time!

He's saving face at this point. It's okay to feel that way, I certainly don't though and he for damn sure doesn't need to play SJW towards former USMNT teammates who don't agree with him. Fact is he did it for money and didn't anticipate the backlash.

And we don't need more fans like that anymore than you don't need fans who toss batteries, bags of urine and homophobic slurs at opposing players.

I think Landon was extremely naive in thinking there wouldnt be a backlash. And there's irony that he is playing SJW defense for aligning himself with Mexican fans that have a history of very un-SJW antics.

Michael Davies is right; watching the WC without your team in it is great because you're just watching soccer for the joy of it. Mexico doing well only means that defeating them later this year or next year with our under-23 team will be even more satisfying.
