Really a high level title match. Great game and comeback by UCLA, only to be thwarted by a sensational winning goal by Stanford. I think this was the most talented title matchup in NCAA history. Just watching the technical skill on the ball, the passing, the decision making, the incredible midfield play, just amazing stuff from these two sides. It really shows how far A&M has to go to beat one of these teams for a title. South Carolina was throttled with ease by Stanford in the semifinal, and we're about even with SC this year. We really need to start recruiting at a higher level as well. We have nice teams with good talent, but if we want to win a title we're going to have to step it up on the recruiting trail, especially in our own state. Stanford had a few elite Texas kids playing in the game today.
