Bonfire.

I'm not a student yet...I'm class of 2010...

I can't think of anything I'd rather see than the return of Bonfire. Sure, I've never witnessed it. But I do know I'll miss out on something spectacular by never seeing it. I've heard such amazing things about all aspects of bonfire-from cut, to working on stack, to burn. I think there's something special about having it on campus, and encouraged by the University.

It would be a privilege to be at A&M and help build bonfire once again.

I have 2 sons and a daughter in law, all AG grads. Oldest son got thru three Bonfires, youngest never saw one burn or do cut as a student. Big Difference. IF you want things to change, bring back bonfire. If not,.....

Bonfire. Can't say for sure that MNC is going to leave me with friends for life. Or the overwhelming need to seek counseling for pyromania.

sports is sports BONFIRE is AGGIE SPIRIT in as tangible a form as can be found. Not quite up to par with Silver Taps and Muster, but definitely #3. Would you rather have a MNC or give up Muster? sports is sports. We're Aggies. We are bigger and deeper than just sports.

Just showed this post to my uncle, class of 52'. His exact response was, "These kids that prefer bonfire over a national championship must be bunch of fairies. Bonfire in my day was a reason to drink some whiskey and be rowdy......when did it go and become so damn sacred."
