We've had much worse teams than this, but there's something different about this year …

Just knowing the coaching staff won't even try anything new when what's on the field is obviously failing … it's just so disheartening as a fan.

The AD needs to bite the bullet and fire Elko. I don't care how improved Reed was after the 2 INTS. Pure stupidity not making the change at QB several games ago!

I've never seen a coach so stubborn or so willing to be the definition of futility week after week. We have a decent defense. We have a great kicker and good punter. We're an offense away from being respectable to good, but coach won't make a ****ing change. Well, he'll go down with the ship, but we'll likely get two more seasons to watch it sink.

I feel more hopeless. Because Fran was so bad, everyone knew Fran was bad and would be gone soon. The only person in Aggieland who believed in Fran was Stephen McGee haha.

His accuracy numbers might have been better, but he still fumbled the ball three times after the two ints.

Sad thing is I actually had hope this week. I was thinking we had a fighter's chance up until we punted the ball away with 4 minutes left on a 4th and 6 when we were down 11 points.

I wouldn't fire Elko but make him replace that OC. Some of the dumbest plays I've ever seen. If you are going on 4th and 1, have some beef behind the QB and push him over the line like the Philadelphia Eagles.

Hope? Look at this and tell me why you ever had hope outside of when we had JFF. But even then the defense was so terrible there was no real hope.

Graduated in 18. Didnt grow up an aggie, so I will say this is by far the worst team ive seen us field. The jimbo year was bad, but the injury bug got us bad

I think the problem there was the Manziel's handle it all wrong. You can't go sit in the Head Coaches office and demand millions. Of course he's going to say no. Just like you don't walk into El Chapo's living room and demand a kilo of coke.

If I was Sumlin I'd have been demanding Manziel show me the wire he was wearing making a demand like that in my office. Go find the bagmen I'm not supposed to k ow about and get your money from them.

Oh, there's been a lot of times, but this one stings even more because of how well we did last year until the very end. We thought we would grow on that and we didn't.

Jimbo's last year felt the most hopeless. The payout was enormous, he wouldn't make changes, our coordinators were crap, our line coach was an unequivocal disaster, the team was out of control and it felt like there was no way we could get out of it. And this feels exactly the same.
