Tickets should be much more affordable for the rest of the season for sure.

Until there's a top to bottom restructuring of this athletic department and everything surrounding it, we won't have a truly successful season. It starts with low hanging fruit like the yell leaders.

I think old ct's still make up a lot of the decision makers. We have stunk at sports for several generations and I think this is why.

I don't blame the decision makers. We threw lots of money at several hires that made sense at the time. The only one that didn't might have been Sherman.

I was surprised to see so many fans streaming towards the exits in mid-Q4. Maybe it's not a thing anymore, but I can remember as a student staying to the end and then doing something (a yell or song, I can't remember) in support of the team, even though they lost. But that's been nearly 50 years, so........

Money is one thing. And there are enough oil rich Former Students who will throw their green into this cash furnace.

But attendance is another. And i have seen my share of empties at Kyle. It just takes a couple of seasons.

We just won 11. By mid October, Tickle Me Elko will have 10-20k empty seats at Kyle. We arent as special as we claim.

FrankenKyle Palace is a social scene, not a serious sporting event. There are people so blindly into being seen and keeping up with the Richardsons that the product on the field is an afterthought.

We are a large collection of good Ol' boys who enjoy each other's company. That permits the BMAs to continue their long line of very bad decisions. We will never call them on it because we are going to show up no matter how bad the team is. Recall we once kissed our dates when we made a first down. Nothing will ever change but we will enjoy our visits.

A fan revolt won't work.
Why? We have too many stupid "fans". 1) There are the stupid BMAs. Most of them acquired their wealth in the oil/gas biz. You need luck, attitude, and a good geologist not smarts. And they've been making the worst fb decisions since A&M played with leather helmets. 2) The stupid A&M football social club fans. They go for the social scene with fb in the background. This is young and old. The older ones mostly gab with their season ticket neighbors about their summer trip to Italy, grandkids, etc. 3) There's the senior old coot fan (my demographic). Their fb knowledge stopped progressing during the RC era. 4) There's the absurdly hyper-loyal stupid fans. Oh well we'll get them next time. We're going to turn it around. These fans hate reality and any slight criticism of the gameplay. They can't defend the indefensible so the name call with insults like bleeders or pot bangers.
This stupid fan base has been enough to keep stands mostly full and the AD in the black. You would need Musk type wealth to change this perpetual mediocrity machine. EOR
