Liucci said in this video the best QBs were $7 million or $8 million in the portal. Does anyone actually believe that? No way a one-year contract is that high. But yes, a good QB should be worth a lot more than Reed. Reed would've demanded higher if the ceiling is $8m for one season right now. We could've easily found a QB as good for the $3m price we paid Reed. At least Liucci admitted that he was one of the people for keeping Reed last offseason.

I said after last season that if this program was serious about winning championships they would get a QB out of the portal and not worry about hurting someone's Feelings.

It is unfathomable to me that a Head Coach of a top University in money and support is worried about hurting people's feelings. WTF!

It's a culmination of not upgrading OL, play calling, RB and QB. Elko did not do anything to make any of those groups better. Keep Reed but significantly upgrade 2 of the others and we are probably okay.
