I also don't see the sec refs helping them out much anymore.
Calling them “NFL players” is at best disingenuous, and at worst intentionally deceptive @AGAlanWilson & @Georgia_AG.

The worst thing that could happen to LSU would be for them to actually win this round in court.KatyAggie2000 said:
I think the bigger issue is if LSU "wins" and rosters the two professional players, they will have backed the SEC in a corner. I think it's clear the other members and the recent federal lawsuit by Sankey put the writing on the wall. Enough is enough and they are prepared to move on without LSU. No one is bigger than the conference and the other 15 have spoken.

If I read this right , the Federal suit filed by the SEC trumps the one filed by the state?
Regardless this whole thing is a clown show.
Half of them aren't even college educated and the other half went to LSU.TexAgsSean said:maroon man said:

Not saying they're wrong or right on that point as I'm not following the whole situation, but the posters on tigerdroppings have the IQ level of a first grader.

Sankey faced some spicy cross examination from Tony Clayton, a plaintiff's attorney. Sankey was asked at one point in front of the more than a dozen atheltes: "Should these children be punished…because you changed the rules."

Once the big 12 filed in federal court, Texas Tech quit just a few days later, maybe the next day. There's a reason for that, the sham was up. Let's see if LSU is as smart as tech.

Wow maybe Kiffin @ tu would have been the real disaster here, seeing as how welcoming Slive's tonsils are to all things burnt orange. Thanks, Arch??
I'd be on the lookout too for sip to file an IP infringement suit against swamp kitty, they're really getting out-innovated in the field of "Destroying Athletic Conferences."

That attorney does not represent LSU, he represents the players trying to gain eligibility. The SEC created this mess by enforcing rules for some players and schools and not for others.

Well to me it's clear. To be a professional you sign a contract. NCAA and SEC is squared on that. So those that did are out. Those that didn't - tested the waters - can come back. They were never professionals by the definition of signing an NFL contract.

This is awesome...Good for Sankey and the SEC.
It appears the swamp kitties poked the bear a bit too much. Kiffin and LSU are trash.
I wonder if Sankey will allow SEC members to cancel their games against LSU without penalty? Would love to see a 3-game LSU schedule, lmao.

No. That has TV money implications.
