We do NOT need to run Reed more as is QB draws and zone-reads, though I would like a few zone-read plays every game.

What we DO need is for Reed to pull it and run 3-5x per game. We don't beat USC without his 4th and 12 run, which he could have done at any time in 1H when he was playing awful from the pocket (could have had 4 INTs and a worse HT score), we don't put a beat down on lsu without his early 50+ yard TD run and multiple big plays using his feet. Our last game of the season our only reg. season loss we lost as we did not contain the other QB running, not his passing. In the CFP game vs Miami we could not run the ball with the RB very well and we never countered with any zone-read game.

Marcel always plays best when he is into the game by running the ball. Don't forget that he became our QB by coming off the bench vs lsu and only threw 2-3 passes but lit them up on the ground. His first emergency start in the Swamp the FL D had no answer for him running and then he lit them up passing.

In college football it is extremely difficult to defend a QB like Reed, Milroe, Manziel, etc. who will rip off chunk yardage running the ball instead of forcing a pass after 2 reads. If I was a CFB HC I would only ever recruit two-way QBs, not the Peyton Manning and Tom Brady statue NFL model QBs.
