Klein. They can't let him run too much. He's too small. That's why they have tried to make him a drop-back passer. Which hasn't worked.

And THAT is why Klein should have been run off a long time ago.

You don't keep a dual threat QB in the pocket, just like you don't run a pure pocket passer.

The snap was below his knees and Sayin didn't get it up immediately. That wasn't a fake handoff. It was a bad snap transition.

What are you drinking tonight? BTW the snap was waist high. Right where it needed to be.
Dr. Pepper.

I went back and watched it again. You're right, it was waist high, but it looks like he still fumbled the snap a bit.

Only reason why I watched it again originally was because I was wondering why Sayin was so late throwing the pass. You have to be faster with those designed swing passes. Bain was already in position to try to knock it down for a full second before he threw it. So the only things I can come up with is either Day is being cute with badly designed fake handoffs or Sayin had trouble with the snap.

I don't think we have any room to talk about coach's tatas

Elko
Elko has a huge gut, but I don't think he has the tits to match.

Initial takeaways from this game is, damn our defense played well and our OL did a bang up job compared with the OSU O-Line

Dammit we had the right tools on offense to win this game with better play calling IMO

Or like I said, the db sniffed that out from the get go. Wish we had db's like that.

I agree. But I'm thinking Klein received that directive at beginning of the year from Elko (to not run Reed as much). If that's true, coaches need to be looking at another solution at QB or set the game plans with Reed as a mobile QB.

Reed had a bad game, but the play calling was terrible.

The problem with Reed and the reason it looks like our guys can't get open is because Reed will not let his receivers got get it. If the WR isn't wide open, he's very quick to move to the check down. He had two of the best WR's in the country and he couldn't get it to'em. I watched Arch, tonight, throw passes to guys who looked totally covered up and guess what, his guys made the catch.

KCup17
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Reed wasn't able to put balls in the same zip code as our WRs let alone hit a check down. He missed so many open Receivers early in the game. Then started forcing throws late in the game and it cost him. He never was settled in the pocket and was jumpy from drive 1.

Look at stories from spring and summer, where they say they want Reed to bulk up to 195. I don't think he ever got close, hence Elko telling him not to run. I don't think Klein ever considered that Reed wouldn't be able to add that weight by fall.

Why is Miami playing extremely soft in the middle now? They are going to give up points if they aren't careful.

Even if true, this is just another massive example of a failure by not just Klein but Elko and the coaching staff.
