Building up the flags thrown and calling the penalties that can't be missed when reviewing tape

Pretty obvious it is protect a blue blood AND do everything you can to prevent the top 4 seeds from falling to 0-5 since the expansion.
If the top 4 seeds stumble something will need to change again.

How about a full-time professional referee corps that's not tied to the conferences?

Yeah announcers were focusing on RT 70. Hold was on 71 in the same frame - egregious, pulled guy back. They should've saw that.

Honestly I think it's actually a good thing. It calls out that the seeding is quite subjective, but also allows for any in the top 4 to be beaten if they don't belong there. Unlike with 2 or 4 teams in the championship or playoffs in previous systems, when no-one will ever know if the top 4 should actually be the ones playing in the end.
Yes, it's annoying that the bye teams are losing thus far, but for the sake of the purpose of the expanded playoffs, it is actually accomplishing exactly what was intended.
We'll see how tomorrow goes, so that should be interesting too.

Expand to top 16. Strictly off of rankings. No conference guarantees. If a conference wants to, wisely, get rid of a conference championship game then let them. Let lesser conferences have their own mini playoff for conference championship to boost their chances

He's had some tough runs and laid himself out.

I have a hard time objectively judging teams playing against A&M. Didn't know if Miami was great or we had an awful game. Miami looks damned solid. We could have beat them but regardless of what happens here I feel slightly better about our team.

It all falls apart when ND or one of the other blue bloods wind up on the wrong side of the bubble, no matter how many teams are in a playoff.
Must have everyone in a conference, and play to a winner like the NFL. There's no other way.

Dumbest ****ing statement ever. Reed had us down to the 4 when Miami had a blatant targeting.
The biggest question is… Is Ohio State fraudulent and the worst 12-2 team ever?!?
