Blowing a lead is bad enough but when it includes (a) the punter dropping the ball but forgetting to swing his leg and (b) throwing a pass to a defender in the flat without a receiver around for a pick six it is a bitter pill indeed.

That punt, or more accurately no punt, was about as strange as could be. It being deliberately done like that makes more sense than it somehow being a mistake

I don't think so. The first one barely missed and was a weird slice. The second was right on but fell short. I believe both were against the wind.

OU flat out choked. Their FG kicker is the least of their worries.
