Well…if we lose that circular argument will be awfully prescient…

All that's needed is the tuck in jersey, big ol' hip pads sticking out, and a white round neck roll.

Love the classic, though, for a game like this.
"Green" is the new RED.

This video is amazing, and the fact that we are hosting Miami for a playoff game in College Station is something that sophomore me couldn't even fathom while enduring 2003 Fran.

I'm happy to have enjoyed the ride that is this season.

I think the biggest hurdle to believing that is convincing us in 2003 that there is a playoff and the games are held on-campus. Well that and seeing Fran footbal

generally speaking...the SEC era has been good for aggie football

in 14 years of competition....the program has had 3 excellent / great seasons (2012, 2020, 2025) plus 2 very good seasons (2013, 2018)

whereas in the previously mentioned Big 12 era...in 16 years of competition...there was only 1 great year (1998) plus 3 very good seasons (1997, 2006, 2010). And numerous losing seasons

From a broad reading of comments across the media, I believe Miami is underestimating the challenge they face playing an 11- 1 SEC team on the road. We will see how good their ACC competition really was, along with the road environment in that conference. Who did they lose to? What was their schedule strength? No one seems to highlight it.

Hopefully soon the standard will have evolved so that years like 2012 and 2020 are very good seasons and seasons with a trophy are great seasons.

Hopefully that disrespect by Miami leads to a re-creation of one my favorite Aggie bowl games ever attended. Little bowl game in San Diego, poor Ty was never quite the same, and I dont remember the backups name, not sure he does either after that night. Never under estimate the Ags, they may **** the bed as often as not or more so, see tu this year, but never under estimate them.

"Every era has led to this"?

Profound.

The past does have a way of leading to the present.
