#0 for Lone Star, Groce, is a Florida recruit who is just unreal. And the QB, Trey Wright, #3,, is only a sophomore but gives Johnny Football vibes.
They have a smattering of other D1 recruits on both sides of the ball.

I don't sadly. I'm running Victory+ on a separate monitor. Not the end of the world, but I always liked having the games on the tv when working with patients. Especially my out of state folks who've never seen 6 Man Football which is always funny

Receiver moved his arms laterally in normal running motion to square up under the ball. Not even close to being above shoulders / head. Brutal call.

It was nowhere close to a fair catch.
When you've only thrown the ball 44 times in an entire season you probably shouldn't go down by 3 scores. Really need to step up here.

Carthage and Kilgore splitting the 4A titles would be something else with the former already having won their matchup to start the season.
Coach Surratt is undefeated in state title games at Carthage, and i believe this will be his eleventh in eighteen seasons if they beat West Orange-Stark tomorrow. That's incredible no matter the result and has to make him the GOAT of TX high school football coaches.

Grandview is an interesting team - saw them earlier this year. Lots of pre snap movement - QB style kind of reminds me of Pavia.

Victory+ actually kicks ass. They took a chance to launch a free channel to carry the Stars after Fox Sports went bankrupt instead of charging a subscription to watch your sports team play. Complaining them picking up the HS champ games (also for free) is really an old man yelling at clouds).

I'll be there tomorrow rooting on Kilgore. Carthage got the best of us in week 1, but we did shut them out in the 1st half. KJ Edwards is the real deal.
Yoakum is too fast
Grandview has a shoddy defense, but they can light up the scoreboard. I'd venture to say it's finally caught up to them, but I won't believe this is over until they are down 4 TDs.
