Earlier in the year, Moss had some issues with 'nerves' or 'anxiety' as they were put. If this is the case, then we can just h&p that it clears out.
Folks will read this and roll their eyes but in before that or any disparaging comments. Dealing with a high level of alphabet issues, can push a person down and cause a lot of thoughts in their minds to go wild. Add an actual injury to it only will and can, compound the issue.

Moss is a great running back. The Ags are better with him. Hope he gets well soon, whatever hes going through.

If he plays again and gets hurt again, his stock will drop like a rock. If he sits out and dazzles at his pro day, it can mean millions $$$. Depends on if scouts feel if they have enough game tape to get him in the early rounds.

The combine is the most stupid exercise in all of sport. Don't get hurt playing football so you can save yourself for non football exercises to prove you can play football.

The guy is not going to be a very high draft pick. He hasn't played a full healthy season. Much more to gain for him playing and showing he's healthy than sitting and letting the narrative be he's always hurt and never there by the end of the season. Any one advising him telling him different is a moron.

Playing one more game will do nothing but risk another injury. He'll use the combine to show he's healthy.

People have been assuring us he'll play for the last several games, so clearly nobody knows what they're talking about. At this point, I'm not expecting him to play. People won't want to hear this, but even if he comes back, we saw with Owens last year that he likely won't be himself yet anyway.,

Last several? That is not true. Nobody expected him to Play against Samford. South Carolina would have been too soon. The thought was maybe he could be ready for Texas but obviously he wasn't. We were guaranteed a playoff spot going into that game so maybe Elko figured why risk it then.

What press conferences have you been watching? Or do you get your info from a twitter burner account?

It's been pretty set in stone from 2 weeks after his injury that a return durning regular season was unlikely; however, if he did would most likely be against the sips. No one ever gave assurance of him returning, it was always if the stars found a way to align.

I'm not saying I would have. I guess I'm just frustrated that expectations for his return, even if they're just from posters on TexAgs, seemingly just keep getting pushed back week after week. Elko's comments on the matter haven't been encouraging either. What's most frustrating is that I personally don't think he'll look like himself until several weeks after his return that means it's probably too late for him to have the type of impact we'd like him to have. That's just my line of thinking though, and I'm not medical expert, so I sure hope I'm wrong.
