What a stupid thing to say. He's either playing and Elko is being strategically cagey, or the injury was much more serious originally.

Neither.

Protecting NFL Draft stock.
Not playing hurts his draft stock. He'll play if he can, even if it's on a managed load.

Why should Elko tip his hand? Just so our gambling degenerates feel better?

Presser today Klein sure made it sound like Moss is going to play.

Or he's saving himself for the NFL. Tell us what you think is more logical?

The guy is not going to be an very high draft pick. He hasn't played a full healthy season. Much more to gain for him playing and showing he's healthy than sitting and letting the narrative be he's always hurt and never there by the end of the season. Any one advising him telling him different is a moron.
This. He needs a game like Achane had at the end vs LSU to dramatically increase his draft stock.

Did he have a much more severe injury? I thought he was supposed to be back by now? What's going on with the dude?

Jesus, dude. Read all 20 threads about this

Or you could summarize. I have only seen a few and I still have no clue what is going on.

It appears there is speculation that it is Moss' decision which would be concerning if true.

Just got to page 2 and saw the video of him practicing and word that Klein said he would play--now I believe we can win (which will make it hurt that much more when BAS kicks in).

Disagree with those saying it will help him for pros if he sits out.

IMO Moss's drack stock is going be hit if he doesn't play. The book on him is he can't stay healthy. But teams are going to get excited about drafting a RB so worried about injury he skipped the playoffs, having already missed half the season for injury?

I don't think so.

Don't get me wrong. I really like Moss, and he has shown to be really good when healthy. But I don't get all the hyperbolic speculation about his impact on the game. He IS a good college RB. But he's not a game-changing type like Reggie Bush, McCaffrey, or Barkley.
Lol. He's miles better than all our other RBs. Our run-game sucks without him. Not complicated.

While our run game doesn't suck without him, I seriously do not understand if he watches football. The last 2 seasons provide ample evidence that this offense goes so much better when Leveon is part of the game plan.

All NFL teams have doctors that examine players and know which ones are physically healthy or not. They (coaches, scouts, doctors) will see how they run in the combines, pro days, and personal work outs and breakdown the documentation.

Players cant hide injuries these days, especially joints from the hips down.

Its no secret on why so many players opt out of bowl games. Risk mgt and prep time before the teams check you out in a few months.

Im pretty sure team Moss and the coaches have discussed this. Its all part of being a pro these days. Could there be $$ incentives to play when billed healthy? Maybe, but we'll probably never know. Business decisions for both player and coach.

Le'Veon accepts invite to play in Senior Bowl. That is a good sign he is about to go off this weekend. 10-15 carries from #8 completely changes our offenses outlook

I feel that by the time the dust settles and the game is played, this thread would have accomplished nothing but make some people on here lose respect for one another.
