Disagree with those saying it will help him for pros if he sits out.
IMO Moss's drack stock is going be hit if he doesn't play. The book on him is he can't stay healthy. But teams are going to get excited about drafting a RB so worried about injury he skipped the playoffs, having already missed half the season for injury?
I don't think so.
All NFL teams have doctors that examine players and know which ones are physically healthy or not. They (coaches, scouts, doctors) will see how they run in the combines, pro days, and personal work outs and breakdown the documentation.
Players cant hide injuries these days, especially joints from the hips down.
Its no secret on why so many players opt out of bowl games. Risk mgt and prep time before the teams check you out in a few months.
Im pretty sure team Moss and the coaches have discussed this. Its all part of being a pro these days. Could there be $$ incentives to play when billed healthy? Maybe, but we'll probably never know. Business decisions for both player and coach.
