Actually only one sport brings in enough to pay for itself- and it funds all of the others.

The Aggies reported $266.4 million in athletic revenue in 2024, ranking just behind Ohio State and Texas nationally.

No reason the Aggies can't be more like Florida. They have won titles in football, men's basketball, baseball and softball the last 20 years AND do well in the Olympic sports.

I know most people only care about the Big 3, mostly football, but I want and expect the Aggies to be good in everything. Since my school days, we have won national championships in men's golf, men's and women's outdoor track, men's indoor track, women's basketball, women's tennis, and equestrian. We've seen baseball, softball, and women's soccer play for national championships. Football went 11-1 and made the playoff in year 2 under Elko. Women's volleyball is in the Final Four in year 3 under Morrison.

The majority of these other sports don't bring money in, but they shine a light on our school and are a source of pride when they accomplish feats like what the volleyball team did tonight. I hope the new soccer coach revives that once-proud program and our basketball teams bring the excitement back to Reed Arena.

Agree, and see my signature below - A Natty is the ONLY Valid Goal for EVERY A&M Sport !

The ONLY valid ANNUAL goal for ALL Aggie Sports is a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!

Gig'em !

Amen, I don't disagree at all. We have football, baseball and volleyball season tickets. We attend softball and track. Used to have m/w basketball season tickets.
