Repeating superstition does want make it true. We have had historic disadvantages in talent when we were a corps not and male. That thawed with Sherrill and Slocum until the tail of Slocum's tenure when Gates declared it was our fault for not supporting facilities upgrades. And clearly other than Sherman's Oline and Sumlin's offensive skill positions and Jimbo's 2020 campaign the rest was mostly ****e.

But that's just refusing to see the funding gap especially with Texas. (We fixed facilities spend after Johnny's Heisman, though…but the game changed.)

Elko has the highest IQ in college football among coaches. Seriously. He does not give a crap, will not be intimidated and will have our guys up for the challenge. .

Double whammy with Kline still calling plays. Look for the 2nd half of the t u game for all 4 quarters against Miami.

ESPN College GameDay has been to College Station 8 times. We are 1-7 in those games, and 5 of those 7 losses were by 7 points or fewer. The only win was 45-38 2-OT win over Tennessee on 10/8/2016, and I was at that game.

Given that Pre-Elko we had zero road wins for several years safe to say it's also pretty bad

I think you will find game day has no bearing on the outcome of the games. Now that guy who was sitting on the toilet years ago and sparked the comeback. That's real.

almost choked in that one too

Has little to nothing to do with game day and everything to do with the caliber of football teams on the field. Sometimes we rode an easy schedule to a hot start but were exposed, and not just on that game day but 3-4 more times to close the season.

I bet if you look at the caliber of team come years end, 9/10 of those teams were just simply better than us.

Miami is a 50/50 type of game, and we may very well lose. But it will have almost nothing to do with gameday.

Look at it this way… The odds are in our favor that we actually win one of these. Numbers like this tend to want to equal out.
