Not exactly expected. They put Miami in to be the ACC team so they could seed two Go5 teams in since ACC champion wasn't considered as good. ND clearly needs to join a conference…

Grats to Tulane and JMU on showing Go5 can get two teams in. And likely forcing the move to best 12 or 16.

Saban is bringing up JMU and Tulane have to be eliminated going forward. They are admitted on a very different standard

BYU is out because it has been clear for a while that 11 & 12 would be auto-bids, so the top 10 is required for an at-large.

So to start the weekend, Bama was IN and BYU was out.

There was no chance an SEC or B10 team was going to move from IN to OUT after losing the conference championship game.

BYU wasn't in (and is in a lesser conference), which is why they HAD to win to get in.

'Lesser conference' is not a consistent metric for this committee. Tech lost to an unranked team and dominated most of their opponents. Just like us they have one loss, but they get a first round bye because they dominated a lesser conference though we lost to a ranked team.

Cool but there's also a HUGE difference between who we are playing (Miami) and who we should be playing (Tulane/JMU) because we gave the committee the excuse they've needed to screw us

This is going to be one of the longest 2 weeks of my life. And, I've been around awhile.

If you are bringing in teams because you're forced to give them a shot when they havent played closely the competition as other teams that were left out then you have a problem.

It is not best practice and is NOT showing the best 12 teams. 5/6 are now getting MUCH easier games than 7/8 because youre forced to accept a couple lesser teams

Eta: the 5/6/7 rankings are a freaking toss up too and don't have merit to how and why that is the correct ranking either

To be fair, a real screw job would have been ND at 10. Or even dumping the Ags to 8 and "rewarding" bama for making the SECCG.

Out of IU, UGA, and OSU, and as strange as it would sound at the beginning of the season, I will take OSU as a potential second round opponent all day, every day.

Same thing for the 10 seed. Out of everyone they realistically could have put there, I think the Ags have the best chance against miami.

Not too het too far ahead, which venue is the OSU game at?

It's not the committees' fault we lost to sip.

That's on us, although I get it because it's a major hate rivalry game.

Those are wild cards most of the time, imo.

The only person ND should be complaining to is whoever schedules their opponents. They are an independent creating their own schedule. They had three real games all year and lost two of those. Quit scheduling JV teams.
