oregon and tech are both flashy... it's simple.. committee tries to say metrics matter, they're lying… oregon and tech flashy, don't try to figure it out

What do we want to happen this weekend between Georgia vs. Bama and BYU vs. Tech? I don't see us jumping to #6, just more about who we play as the #10 seed or even dropping to #8 and playing the #9 seed…

We still have 1 spot to spare before we hit the road jack in round 1. And of course if that happens, we will never come back jack. Doubtful tho. I don't see a 1 loss SEC team falling to the 9 spot.

What I think happens

Bama loses to Georgia and ND/ Bama flip spots .. Bama comes to Kyle

Need BYU to win and take the 10 spot. Also if Tech loses with two losses there is a chance we move up to 6. You wonder if you will penalize a 2 loss Georgia team to behind 1 loss teams as well? Who knows with the committee . Worst match up unfortunately is what is setup tonight

Theres a saying cfb is good when certain teams are good, and cfb is bad when a&m is good. Ive said it all year, they need to keep winning. They smelled their own farts and didnt play their game friday and lost, now this is what happens. Even if we lost the secc game we probably wouldve ended up 5-6

Oregon has played 3 ranked teams and 3 other p4 teams with winning records.

Tech has played 3 ranked teams and beat them all.

Now compare that to us. 2 ranked teams and 2 other teams p4 teams with winning records.

The only argument we'd have to suggest that the majority of our under .500 garbage on the schedule is actually good is compositive talent. Objectively and nationally that is a laughable claim.

The schedule was light. Its ok to admit it. If we're as good as we think, we'll win a home game. If not, this teams wasn't really that good anyway.

I think that's the right answer

I think best case scenario is both Georgia and Tech win. BYU and Bama winning would both jump us, pushing us down to the 8/9 line and facing off against perhaps at Ole Miss or home v OU in the first round with the winner facing Ohio State. Alternatively, if Georgia and Tech win, we'd host Notre Dame and face Georgia or Tech in the second round. Tough road either direction.

Indiana is also undefeated so….they actually took care of business

There is zero consistency which tells you they have zero methodology.

Tech has the worst loss yet are the top ranked 1 loss. They've beaten no one whatsoever. A&M, Oregon, Ole Miss all have a better loss.

A&M loses to #13 and drops to lowest ranked 1 loss, and will 100% be below a 2 loss Georgia or Alabama if they win

Looking at the projected bracket, I don't think it's that bad. We are opposite of osu and I'd rather play Indiana than Georgia in the quarters

For chaos? Need BYU and Virginia to win but this will only cause a minor shakeup by possibly bumping Notre Dame.

TBH, I don't see tonight's results changing.

Yes but the narrative from the committee was look at the gutsy play by IU to come from behind and win. That is what a champion caliber team does. Then the next week A&M does it better and the committee hammers them.
There is a double standard against A&M and it won't change until they prove it on the field multiple times.

Now why doesn't this apply to IU that has even less football history and got exposed as a paper tiger in the playoffs last year? It is either Big10 love, SEC hate, or bias against A&M. It is probably all 3.

It's all about timing. It's always been about timing. If we would have had our loss in the first couple weeks, we wouldn't be moving anywhere. Instead we got it on the last week of the regular season. Tech lost around week 7 or 8…they dropped after that but since have had time to regain their position over the last 5 or 6 weeks.
