Good teams find a way to win. They're more talented than the teams that almost had them. Sometimes that matters. Vandy flat out deserved to lose the way they came in. Kentucky wasn't aggressive enough in the end.

Texas has won 4 consecutive games, including a 3rd consecutive win by 7 points or fewer, to improve to 7-2 (4-1 SEC). Also, Texas snapped Vanderbilt's 2-game winning streak and handed them their 2nd consecutive road loss to drop them to 7-2 (3-2 SEC).

I don't think it's as impressive, but media will hype it up to be. Vandy shouldn't have been ranked that high, but they took advantage of other teams being ranked to high.

Yes of course Vandy is overrated, but the simple.fact is they were ranked in the top ten which means Texas will be the highest mover in the top 25 jump into the top ten and should be number 1 by the time they play the Ags.
