Vandy highly overrated… only decent win was against Mo, and that was a squeaker. Beat nobody else worth a damn.

I really didn't expect Vandy to crumble this badly. For a team that took it to Alabama, played some good football, this looks like old Vandy.
OR (or in addition to) one has to consider that Texas has found a game plan that works. Only a fool would not look at this possibility as well.

tu is about to be 7-2 after what should have been 5-3. They could actually be in position to play for a trip to Atlanta when they host us. This is going to be a tough game for us regardless. Was hoping they would crumble this year even with the easy schedule.

I think Vandy is still pretty good, but there's a lot to be said for experience in big games, especially on the road. Schools that are only good once ever two decades have these kids of games all the time. They start reading their own press and don't remain as focused.
