The deep passes are like the penalties. We say we are working on them but we aren't seeing the results yet. If we could connect on these with Craver and Concepcion we could wreck defenses. It's clear after these last two games our offensive identity is going to be running the football. I like our chances with Mario and KC with 50/50 deep balls.

He wins the Heisman if was evev average at the deep ball. Currently it's a totally wasted play

It's a beautiful looking ball, it just lands 5 yards past the receiver. He still needs to throw 1-2 per half to keep the defense honest and maybe you connect on one or get a PI.

Either that or work on it in a game where we're up by 28 points.

He just has no idea where it will end up after he throws it AND no idea when to throw it based on where the receiver is.
Its all timing and something you should be able to hit in practice without really thinking. and they DO practice that, so its just something he cant do

Reed is overthrowing the deep ball by 1-3 yards.
Instead of a 7 step drop he should take a 9 step drop!

Watch those incompletes turn into touchdowns!

His mechanics are poor…he's inconsistent and could lose a game (probabilities are that he will).

Defenses know to speed up his clock or get to him mentally, mistakes galore. He had the checkdown all 1st half and never really looked for it.
