Yea that clock management taking a timeout for opponents runoff and then calling a timeout early vs going all the way to 1 second is insanely dumb

I think the refs must have announced the 10 second run off thing incorrectly when Florida had the ball. It had to be that Texas declined the run-off. It doesn't make any sense that the offense would get to choose to run off the time or not when a player's helmet comes off. If that's the rule, then players should just take their helmet off after every play. As to why Florida called a timeout, though, I have no idea.
