I think they called the TO to keep their LT in the game. The play they ran was right behind him, but it got blown up anyway. I'd much rather have let the clock run in that situation. It is why Napier is and always will be Napier

The clock doesn't start again until the ball is snapped so the TO didn't cost Florida anything.

Yeah I was apoplectic when he called that TO, but found out later when the 10 second runoff is declined (which UT did), clock starts on the snap. Which is a terrible rule by the way. But Napier did the right thing given the circumstance.
Will be interesting to see if this game was a one off or we turned a bit of a corner. Guess we will see next week in. College Station.
But here's to a good game regardless.

3:22 left, and FSU has a long, grueling drive with something 19 plays and three 4th down conversions. They have all three TOs but trail 28-19. Next drive will have to feature less running.
