But the back to back Florida/OU games will tell us for sure. If he takes two losses there, I could even envision him being benched.


There's two ways to look at this.
1. They paid him $4 million a year to ride the bench for two years. What's one more year of that?
2. They were using the Manning hype as the savior for the program as a recruiting tool. Showing him to be a failure and NOT the savior will destroy their recruiting momentum. Although I guess they could use his $4 million to buy better players.

Yes sir. They are playing in Austin so they will try to run the score up as much as possible. They are going to use every opportunity to make him a hero today.
By tomorrow morning he will be the leading Heisman candidate and the sips will be in the top five again.

If "recruiting analyst s" actually watched some of his high school games they would have seen he has low three star talent but a high five star last name. There were games in high school he struggled big time and he wasn't playing top tier Louisiana talent.

When Ewers was hurt last year then Arch should have taken command of the starting QB job if he was anywhere in the realm of his hype. But he of course wasn't so Ewers took back over

He has been there for years and his footwork and decision making is terrible. He isn't correcting those things in a couple of weeks.
