2005 was 20 years ago.

I don't understand all the white knighting for the sips. They lost. They should get ridiculed, irrespective of what's happening at A&M. They do the same to us.

It really is comical the lack of championship hardware in a sport by colleges across a state that devotes absurd amounts of money & beats its chest so much about said sport.

Ridiculing a team that won two playoff games and almost played for a natty just makes us look petty as we sit at home hoping baseball season will start soon. UT has won 1 national title the past 50 years..........and yet some of you continue to put them on this pedestal that they do not belong.

2005, 2009 and 23 are the only seasons in the past 20 years that UT has won a conference championship.

The OP is right. Texas main success is in swimming, volleyball and country club sports.
