Holy cow. Thought you were joking. Loading up on ASU, esp if I can find +14.5. Their RB will run all over tu.
Boise is 10.5 point dog vs Penn State
Arizona State is a 14 point dog vs Texas
Georgia/ND line is 1.5
Oregon/Ohio state line is 1
Two teams that deserved byes have tight lines and two teams that didn't deserve byes are massive underdogs.

If we'd have held course upon entering November and earned a home playoff game, I have to believe we would have smoked someone yesterday as well.
But I guess we just had too much success and decided we just couldn't have that.
Oh you sweet summer child. We would have been the lone team to get skunked by the underdog to prove the validity of this playoff system

No one has run on Texas all year. Doubt ASU does it first

12 team format excludes the "could get hot and make a run" teams like Ole Miss, Alabama, TAMU, USCe, Miami, in favor of "good" teams in weak confrences. That is the case this year, remains to be seen if that is a constant. 24 team format would give all of those teams a shot and provide a better overall product in my opinion. Yes you are going to have some bad games in early round. Just like you do in the round ball tournament in March, and, also the FCS bracket as mentioned above. When you start filtering that field though, I believe you end up with the best ball available any given year.rootube said:SlickHairandlotsofmoney said:
That it was. The FCS playoffs turn out some great football games every year.
The FCS has a (checks notes)… 24 team playoff. Huh why aren't people complaining on here that their regular season is useless. Also there are far more blowouts in the FCS. Go take a gander at their bracket. And despite this literally nobody is asking them to reduce the playoffs to four teams. Blowouts are important data points it tells you who is better than who and by how much. Committees are the problem because they are consistently clueless.

Because no one cares about the FCS. HTH

Pointless cash grab. Should be half the teams. 1 and 2 get a bye. 3 and 6 play and 4 and 5 play. Piece of cake. More mid to high caliber teams for exhibition games.
because we are garbage as well..haQuote:
And we weren't in any of them
