Go take a gander at their bracket. And despite this literally nobody is asking them to reduce the playoffs to four teams. Blowouts are important data points it tells you who is better than who and by how much. Committees are the problem because they are consistently clueless.

Pointless cash grab. Should be half the teams. 1 and 2 get a bye. 3 and 6 play and 4 and 5 play. Piece of cake. More mid to high caliber teams for exhibition games.

If we'd have held course upon entering November and earned a home playoff game, I have to believe we would have smoked someone yesterday as well.

But I guess we just had too much success and decided we just couldn't have that.

You must not have followed them. It was blowout after blowout until the semifinals.

The FCS games were on ABC yesterday while the FBS was on TNT. There's also a post on this thread criticizing the NCAA about yesterday when they have nothing to do with the CFP so you might be right about not many football fans.

These are the same garbage bowl games that people watched anyways before the "playoff" tag was added lol.

Make it 24 teams, get rid of conference auto byes and auto bids, which will allow more at large teams that are good. Top 8 teams regardless of conference or conference champs get first round byes.

Get rid of all other bowl games, you'll still have some blow outs in the first round (like you will in most garbage bowls) but the end result will be a true playoff / winner, without the committee ****ing things up
