1974 Sun Bowl win over Florida. If there has been CFP then we would have been National Champs.

1/1/1988 Cotton Bowl win over Notre Dame. InTIMMYdation! I was a sophomore in high school. We lost three Cotton Bowls when I was at A&M.

This was my freshman year. Timmy-towel-gate and freezing my backside off are vivid memories!

1986 Cotton Bowl. Wrecking Crew with 12th Man stops the mighty Bo Jackson for 4x after 1st and goal from about the 5 yard line. Ags weren't expected to even be competitive against that athlete who truly looked like a man amongst boys. He did get loose in the game for one big run you knew was coming. But it wasn't enough. The Aggies were finally on the rise and everyone knew it.
This. IIRC, FB Tommy Agee was in motion before the snap, and it wasn't called.

35 yard line halfway up the first deck, loved that game. Wrecking crew, Bucky, crushed the Heisman trophy winner after they had cried on nationalmTV about deserving to play a better team, blah blah blah. It was fantastic.

That snow game was crazy. My fish year in the band and the snow started at game time and just got worse and worse. We got into a lot of snow ball flights in the crowd with sophomores as the target. At half time the MSU band declined marching, but we formed up for it. The field was covered in snow, you couldn't see the yard lines. We had planned to do the 4-Way, but that requires yard lines and precision. We were forming up in the end zone wondering what we were going to do when Col. Brewer got on the stadium PA and told us to "Recall, Step of on Hullabaloo, spread to block, countermarch each end zone, play War Hymn and Noble Men, form the T, and take it off. And that's what we did. As a fish we have a metal tap on the bottom of your shoe. The snow froze to the cold metal. A hunk of ice would build up until you were marching on your toes and it would break making you stumble.
We did a pretty good job plowing the middle of the field for the beginning of the second half. Maybe the only band that could call an audible like that.
Afterwards I had to go to the bathroom and dry out my soaking wet socks in the hand dryer.

Toombs was awesome that game, but a blocked extra point and run back let them win the game in OT.
We celebrated a very quiet New Year on a cold bus back to the hotel.

Was there, Great game. Surreal. Sherrill was stoic and our team was actually very good.

Froze my toes off and my "little thing" when I went pissed.

One of my all time favorites too. I have number of friends that are Auburn Fans and I remind them that A&M Whooped Bo Jackson so bad that he quit football and went and played baseball!!!

I still have my ticket stub from the 1986 Cotton Bowl. Signed by some players.

Would love to get Jackie Sherril's autograph on it.

Holiday Bowl, after BYU opened their mouth. Ty Detmer writhing in pain on the field. That was the Wrecking Crew! Have not seen a defense like that since then.

Already been mentioned, but the Snow Bowl vs Mississippi State in 2000. Stayed at the Sheraton and rode on the elevator with Slocum. Sat and drank countless beers in the State section and rose hell. Got stuck at Mall St Vincent for hours after the game because of the weather and had a super racist cab driver pick me and a friend up while he sped up so others couldn't get in. Got stuck on I-20 next to Pork Chop Womack's mama the next day. Had to stay in Ruston, LA the next night because of weather and watched Oregon State abuse Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl.

Just hate that we lost but have a great painting for a memory!

I think that game was in 1977 after the 1976 season. (Don't ask me why the Sun Bowl was after New Year's Day) Pitt won the Natty that year and I think we could have beaten the Panthers.

Enjoyed a beer at the airport with Lester Hayes after the game. Great player, and even better guy.

1990 holiday bowl; unranked Aggies destroyed crybaby BYU

Bucky scored TDs by running, passing and receiving

The wrecking crew separated both shoulders of the QB who won the Heisman that year

1968 Cotton Bowl - featuring the 8th ranked Crimson Tide coached by Paul Bear Bryant vs the Fighting Texas Aggies - coached by Gene Stallings / Champions of the SWC and unranked / Ags Win 20 - 16. Our guys played as tought as nails and Bear picked up Gene Stallings in a Bear Hug at midfield after the game. Also, seeing my Dad and several of his class of 1943 class mates walking down the exit ramps at the Cotton Bowl - singing the Aggie War Hymn and Sawing Varsity's Horns Off - good Bull for a 12 year old.

The snow in Shreveport against MSU was hilarious and I travelled with the TMF that year and all of the better hotels were filled with gamblers and did not need the TMF to fill their rooms

We were at the Isle of Capri overflow hotel and it was trash The hotel ran out of hot water every morning, i guess the usual clientele was not a bunch of early risers
I was among the Younger people in the traveling with the TmF To say the old Ags were not amused is an under statement

Usually the TMF gets nice hotels at reasonable prices this was neither
Tge Ags lost but Most of my Bowl memories with Ags are disappointing losses I like this memory

I drove my FIL, BIL and nephew to Shreveport. Said "we should probably get a hotel since it may sleet" on the way there. FIL: "No we'll be fine".

Drove 5 hours on ice just to make it to Kilgore after 3am to find a place to sleep for a few hours. It was brutal.

When we got to the stadium the snow started and we thought "this is cool". Couldn't have underestimated what was coming any more than we did.

The Snow Bowl in Shreveport. The kids had a blast until the end of the game. They were freezing due to their clothes and boots were sopping wet but we survived and still talk about the snow and ice. We don't see much snow in S Texas.
Ags lost at the very end of 4th as we were crawling into our Suburban. We stayed in Jefferson Tx in a dog run home built in 1853. Thank goodness for that huuge dear man heater.
