Jackson Arnold absolutely has an elite set of skills that will only get better with a good OL, WR's and good OC.
Next year we will also have injuries, so we need to get better depth. We've had the injury excuse going on 4 years straight now.SolidRockAg said:

I agree. Hopefully we've learned our lesson over the years. We went 3 years in a row with our QB1 getting injured, then this year he's mentally injured so that makes it 4 years in a row. We need some experience and competition at QB, and someone that has a real shot at taking it.TAM85 said:

And there's a very good shot that the staff knows that and that person is Miles. None of us know how he's looked and progressed and taken to the culture/QB room this season other than very limited snaps against NMSU...and he looked pretty damn good in those.
If we think he's the future after Reed, then bringing someone in to take developmental snaps away from him is not the answer, and the HS route was the answer.

We need someone with some experience. Reed could not be the answer or go down with injury even if he is. Plus he needs real competition.
