Moss isn't returning unless his draft stock takes a huge hit due to his injury. He was trending towards a 3/4th round grade which for a RB is pretty good. No reason to come back to college and expose yourself to more carries. Achane was a 3rd rounder as an early enrollee and has done quite well

I really don't get the Marcel bashing either.... he had some shaky decision making but he's a freshman in a new system

The skill set this kid has means the ceiling is sky for his future

His draft stock is going to take a huge hit. Apparently the injury was quite significant.

I have heard that Miles ONeal looks really good in practice and runs the second team very efficiently and looks good when with the ones as well

We folded our last three conference games especially on offense. They figured out Reed and we couldn't score. Got behind early and couldn't overcome it. Really looked bad against tu and failed to score any points offensively. Must find a quarterback with experience in the portal. We have a much harder road game schedule next season and it will be tough to win 8 games if our quarterback play doesn't improve,

People continue to talk like this and downplay that our best offensive weapon was injured for those three games. Of course our offense got worse.

Sure we'll struggle if QB play doesn't improve. But why would you expect it not to improve when he's a year more experienced, playing in a better backfield and hopefully we've added some more weapons around him?

Too big a gamble to wait a couple of years hoping Reed is going to figure it out. We heed an experienced quarterback now. Remember Mond? Never could figure it out and we wasted two years hoping he would get better. The portal has changed the game and we better use it .

He had no injuries. He was slightly banged up, mostly after being asked to run more due to other position injuries, and yet kept improving his completion percentage, vertical passing game and keep his head about himself... All while the defense played like chickens with their heads cut off.

Given how well we transitioned back and forth from Weigman's style to Reed's earlier in the year I'm not so sure we need someone to mimic his style as the backup. If Miles is effective, Klein has already shown he can adapt to a different style

I tend to agree but he was a 61.1% this year with nearly 200 attempts. And his lowest since taking over the starting role again was 62.9% vs Auburn.

His last 4 games he was

76/117 65.0% 917 yards 6 TD 4 INT 7.8 yds/att

That's pretty good for a RS Fr. He needs to clean up a couple things and improve his vision to be elite but if we can maintain a running game like we started the year for the entire season he doesn't have to be elite.

Also look at the WR he was throwing too. Thomas was our best WR and he'd be 2nd or 3rd best on most teams. There was a decent drop off after him. We were a team made up average to below average WR. Add some true talent (which we are doing) and his job may get easier.

Not to mention he speant all offseason as QB2. This year he will be QB1 and get the reps he needs.
